PENGEMBANGAN MODUL BIMBINGAN KARIR
UNTUK MENINGKATKAN JIWA WIRAUSAHA REMAJA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji model bimbingan karir yang dilaksanakan selama ini oleh guru pembimbing, mengkaji kelemahan dan kelebihan model bimbingan karir  dan merancang modul bimbingan karir untuk meningkatkan jiwa wirausaha remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian pengembangan. Untuk langkah pertama  menggunakan penelitian survey dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian ditetapkan secara purposive di Purwokerto. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan focus group discussion (FGD). Analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif melalui tahapan reduksi data, sajian data dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian adalah: pertama, model bimbingan karir yang digunakan selama ini terdiri dari : 1) Materi bimbingan karir berupa penyiapan kerja praktek, tentang penyiapan masa depan siswa baik berkaitan dengan kelanjutan studi maupun rencana karir dan  tentang informasi memasuki dunia kerja. 2) Metode pemberian bimbingan dengan ceramah, diskusi, dan penugasan.  3) Media bimbingan menggunakan media grafis berupa gambar dan liflet serta media film. 4) Evaluasi di laksanakan dengan teknik tes dan non tes terhadap proses dan hasil bimbingan. Kedua, Model tersebut memiliki  kelebihan karena materi bersifat praktis sehingga mudah diterima siswa, menggunakan metode penugasan, sehingga memandirikan siswa, menggunakan media yang beragam sehingga meningkatkan kualitas layanan,evaluasi sudah dilakukan secara terpadu antara teknik tes dan non tes. Namun, model tersebut juga mempunyai kelemahan karena materi bimbingan karir lebih banyak menyiapkan siswa sebagai pekerja, bukan wirausaha. Metode bimbingan karir belum komprehensif dan kurang partisipatif.  Evaluasi bimbingan juga kurang komprehensif, karena belum ada evaluasi program. Belum ada kegiatan tindak lanjut dari kegiatan bimbingan, yaitu konseling karir. Ketiga, Rancangan modul bimbingan karir yang dapat meningkatkan jiwa wirausaha siswa berisi materi tentang Self awareness, JOE-HARRY WINDOW, keputusan karir dengan analisis SWOT, ciri psikologis wirausaha, motivasi diri, pengembangan kreatifitas. Metode yang digunakan diskusi, refleksi diri, succes story, penugasan mandiri.

DEVELOPMENT OF CAREER GUIDANCE MODUL FOR INCREASING YOUTH ENTERPRENEURSHIP

Abstract

This study aimed to analyse career guidance model that had been applied by career guidance teachers; to analyse the weaknesses and strengths of the career guidance model; and to arrange career guidance model to increase youth enterpreneurship. This study used developmental research approach. First step was survey research with qualitative approach. Research location was determined purposively in Purwokerto. Data collecting employed interview and focus group discussion (FGD). Data analysis used interactive analysis model through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification.

The results are: first, the model used for career guidance consists of: 1) material preparation of career guidance in the form of practical work, about the preparation of the future relating to the continuation of students both study and career plans and information about entering the workforce. 2) Method of giving guidance to the lectures, discussions, and assignments. 3) Media using the guidance in the form of drawings and graphic media liflet and film media. 4) Evaluation carried on by non-test techniques and test the process and the guidance. Second, the model has practical advantages because the material is so easily accepted by students, using the method of assignment, so memandirikan students, using a variety of media to improve the quality of service, the evaluation was conducted in an integrated manner between the test and the non-test techniques. However, the model also has a weakness for more career guidance materials to prepare students as workers, not entrepreneurs. The method has not been a comprehensive career guidance and less participatory. Comprehensive evaluation of the guidance is also less, because there is no evaluation of the program. There has been no follow-up activities of guidance activities, the career counseling. Third, the design of career guidance modules that can enhance students' entrepreneurial spirit contains material about self awareness, HARRY JOE-WINDOW, career decisions with SWOT analysis, self-employment psychological characteristics, self-motivation, creativity development. The method used discussion, reflection, succes story, the assignment independently.
