MODAL PSIKOLOGIS (PSYCHOLOGICAL CAPITAL), KETERIKATAN KERJA (WORK ENGAGEMENT) DAN PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL BEING

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between psychological capital and work engagement with psychological well being in the employees. Subjects of this study were employees at the two companies, a multinational company engaged in the field of electricity and a national distributor of steel companies. The data was collected using a psychological capital scale adapted from Psychological Capital Questionnaires (PCQ, Luthans, Youssef & Avolio, 2007) and work engagement scale adapted from the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES, Schaufeli et al., 2002). Then to measure psychological well-being, researchers construct their own psychological well-being scale based on the aspects proposed by Ryff (1989). The results indicated that employees’ psychological capital and work engagement were related to psychological well being.
